It is nearly February! This has been an unusually mild winter, and we are seeing signs of an early spring.

One precursor to spring that we like sharing is the Flower Shows. There are usually some local in scope and a couple that are more state-wide in nature. Check some of these out!

Boston Flower and Garden Show: March 14-18, 2012 at Seaport World Trade Center. Theme is First Impressions. Admission: Adults $20.

Central MA Flower Show: March 2-4 at the DCU Center. Admission: Adults $10.

Western MA Home and Garden Show: March 22-25 at the Eastern States Exposition. Admission: $10

Central MA Home and Garden Show: February 24-26 at the Courtyard by Marriott Central MA Expo Center. For coupon for 2 free adult admissions, click here.

Flora in Winter- Floral Arrangements at the Worcester Art Museum. This is one of my favorite museums, worth going to even if there is not a special exhibit like this. January 26-29. This really looks good- an after hours event with music on January 27:

Kick off your week-end—come after work to take in the fresh scent of flowers, art in the galleries and music in the Renaissance Court. Listen to an entertaining mix of eclectic
music by Mimi Rabson and Peter Clemente of tango, jazz and classical numbers on the
violin and guitar. Savor light refreshments and a cash bar.

Wondering how to get there? Wilson Bus Tours is leaving the Leominster Friendly’s on March 14 and 18 for the Boston Flower Show, and February 25 for the Rhode Island Flower Show.

Once you are at the Boston Show, you can make a day of it by going to lunch and dancing with Odyssey Lunch Cruises. March 15 and 17 11:00- 2:00.

Enjoy!
