First Thursdays in Fitchburg are always a fun time.
At the Fitchburg Art Museum, in addition to free admission, there will be a winter Farmer’s Market:
The February market will also include hot foods — soups, chili and coffee — in the downstairs atrium.
“The museum is open and free to the public on First Thursdays, so they not only can get fresh vegetables, local handicrafts, information and some hot soup, they can take a tour. The museum itself is a must-see part of Fitchburg,” Ms. Lumi said.
The February Winter Farmers’ Market will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at the museum, 25 Merriam Parkway. For more information, call (978) 582-9382, email slumi@verizon.net or visit www.fitchburgfarmersmarket.com.
