Spring vacation 2012 is right around the corner. We have been digging up a few ideas to keep the kiddos busy.

While not a live animal program, the Thayer Memorial Library in Lancaster MA will be discussing Spying on Spotted Salamanders on April 17 from 1-2: “Geared toward students in grades 1-8 (ages 6 and up), this 1-hour program from “Catch the Science Bug” (an award-winning public television program in Rhode Island) focuses on vernal pools and the life they sustain…”
Check out the Discovery Museums in Acton for a vacation week filled with fun things to learn, including a Spring Tree Walk and an Engineers’ Exchange with the Acton- Boxborough Robotics Team.
