Calling All Hearty Volunteers Pruning Team

Apple Tree Pruning Exercises – Jan – March weather permitting. Come learn the art of pruning and enjoy the fresh air. In addition, Brush Burning will be conducted -weather permitting.
Pruning Location: 1125 Pleasant St, Leominster, Ma
How to dress… dress in layers – waterproof boots recommended. Recommend chap stick and dry skin protection. Bring drinking water.
Tools to bring: Choose one of the following: By-pass hand shears, By-pass loppers. Wheeler saw, Pruning “pull” saw: A nine-inch, crescent shaped blade attached to a horizontal handle. A VERY sharp three edged blade which cuts on the draw.
